The Core Systems Alliance arose out of the desperation of a collection of smaller industrial-centric colonies. By converting the designs typically used in luxury racing vessels, they were able to amass a fleet large enough to defend their territory when the need arose. With the continued support of these allied core systems, they arose to become a force to be reckoned with among the stars.
